Crunchyroll is coming to Primetime Channels
As Crunchyroll announced this week, the streaming service for anime until the end of 2024 join the offering of YouTube’s primetime channels.
What is Primetime Channels? An offer on YouTube that allows you to subscribe to individual channels such as Sport 1, Paramount+ or, for example, NFL Game Pass for a monthly fee.
You can access the Primetime Channel offering by clicking on “Films & TV” in the sidebar on YouTube.
How much does the service cost? Chrunchyroll has not yet revealed the price of a monthly subscription to the channel. However, considering the normal Chrunchyroll subscription costs, we assume that the monthly subscription costs between 6.99 euros and 9.99 euros.
What is the advantage of Primetime Channels? Similar to Amazon Prime Channels, you can combine several channels and services on one platform and you don’t have to take out a basic subscription like Amazon Prime, for example. In other words, a YouTube Premium subscription is not a requirement.
