Bolsonaro speaks of travel to Brasilia and possible surgical intervention

Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) mentioned the possibility of traveling to Brasilia to continue medical treatments and eventually undergo surgical intervention. The statement was made in a video published this Saturday (12) on social network X.

On Friday, 11, the former president felt severe abdominal pain and was urgently attended at the Aluízio Bezerra Municipal Hospital in Santa Cruz (RN). He was then transferred to Rio Grande Hospital in Natal, where he is still hospitalized.

According to a medical report released on Friday, Bolsonaro entered with “abdominal distension and pain.” In social networks, he attributed the problem to a complication in the small intestine, the result of surgeries done after the knife attack suffered in Juiz de Fora (MG) during the 2018 presidential candidacy.
