Casas Bahia removes articles that would be voted at the Assembly of April 30

(Reuters)-Casas Bahia (Bhia3) reported on Tuesday that its administration council decided to withdraw from the agenda of the General Assembly scheduled for 30 April “all matters that would be deliberated in an extraordinary general meeting.”

They were planned to be deliberated at an ordinary and extraordinary general meeting proposals for amendments to the Statute, including the addition of a Poison Pill clause, according to the minutes of the board meeting released in late March.

Casas Bahia had already announced the day before the shareholder Michael Klein had requested the cancellation of the Assembly convened on April 30, which also included his proposal to resume the position of chairman of the company’s board and to allocate the current occupant of office.
