Continues after advertising
President Donald Trump, who has already postponed the application of a law that requires the sale of Tiktok, should meet with high White House employees on Wednesday (2) to discuss the fate of the application.
Among the alternatives under analysis is the possibility of attracting new American investors, such as Oracle (Orcl34) and Blackstone, without making a formal sale. However, it is unclear whether this approach would meet legal requirements.
The relationship between Amazon and Tiktok is not new. The application, which has 170 million users in the US, has become an important online purchasing channel, with influencers recommending products that are often purchased from Amazon.
