He President of the Government of Andalusia, Juanma Morenoannounced this Monday that next year’s Community Budgets will include new tax measures to facilitate the access to housing to more than 40,000 Andalusians, with improvements in the deduction for the rent or the purchase of officially protected housing (VPO).

Moreno has advanced the measure during the ceremony of handing over the keys to the new promotion of 60 protected homes in Matadero Sur, in Cádiz, which was also attended by the Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Agenda, David Lucas.

The Andalusian president has listed the legislative advances that his Government has already promoted to facilitate access to housing in the community: «In recent five yearsthe promotion of VPO has multiplied by three compared to the previous five years, with more than 10,000 homes. We are developing residential land to promote the construction of 17,500 more homess. We have approved a new Land Law and a regulation. We have included administrative simplification measures to eliminate bureaucracy. And we have the future underway Housing Law of Andalusia.

After this preamble, Moreno has advanced that the Board will try to ensure that in the Andalusian Budget 2025 include “fiscal measures to facilitate access to housing for more than 40,000 Andalusiansespecially in the return of VPO purchases.

Finally, Moreno has opted for “dialogue” with the central Administration to reach “agreements” and “long and medium-term solutions” to offer “a affordable housing market for all the citizens of Andalusia and the Spanish people.
