In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, fans get to see a completely different side of Son Gohan for the first time – namely the thoroughly evil villain Gohan Black! Since he is the counterpart to Goku Black from Dragon Ball Super, fans were curious to see what father and son would look like as an antagonistic team.
A fan has brought this “what if” scenario into reality and created a mod in which Goku Black and Gohan Black show off their enormous powers side by side in a combined Ki attack.

Dragon Ball fan and X (formerly Twitter) user @cherieanims posted an excerpt from Dragon Ball: Sparking on October 28, 2024! Zero released, leaving the community wanting more. The clip shows Gohan Black taking down the hero Trunks with a combined Ki attack alongside Dragon Ball Super villain Goku Black.
Important: In this case, Gohan Black is not really Gohan, but the antagonist Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super, who has taken over the Saiyan’s body. In the current Dragon Ball: Sparking! In the Zero game, the villainous form of Gohan is not accessible to players at all and only serves as a non-playable villain in a certain what-if scenario. However, it may be added by Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft in the future.
The excerpt from @cherieanims is one modded version of the game, in which the original model alongside Goku Black, presumably Zamasu, was replaced by Gohan Black.

But the mod still shows how incredibly popular the evil Saiyan actually is and how much fans would like to have him as a playable character. After all, Goku Black was already an extreme threat to the heroes in Dragon Ball. Together with Gohan Black, the father-son duo would possibly be one of the most dangerous opponents and villains in the universe.
