Stellantis, Chrysler’s controller, said on Thursday it will paralyze production at a factory in Warren, Michigan for a few weeks due to scarcity of engines.
The company said the problem is not related to new US automotive tariffs.
The automaker said it is allocating all available engines to support RAM 1500 production at the Sterling Heights factory, also on Michigan.

The Warren factory will interrupt production on April 14 and should resume normal production in early May, the company said.
