A famous car will be auctioned in France. It is the Lamborghini Gallardo who belonged to former player David Beckham. The V10 aspirated V10 engine has a reserve price of 140 thousand euros (almost R $ 900 thousand in the current price). The Accord Enchères Auction House, however, expects to raise much more than that.
The Italian sport was purchased by Beckham on August 27, 2004 when the British star was still acting for Real Madrid. According to the company responsible for the auction, Accord Enchères, the Englishman, who was 29 years old, spent more than 157 thousand euros for Gallardo at the time – more than a $ 1 million these days.
The husband of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham defended the English club between 2003 and 2007 and participated in the period known as ‘Galactic’ alongside Zinedie Zidane, Brazilian Ronaldo and Portuguese midfielder Luís Figo.
Beckham kept the car until August 2023, when Lamborghini was passed to another owner. Despite the 21 years of ‘age’ and has already had different owners, Gallardo continues with low mileage: 9,900 kilometers – Beckham, however, only directed 4,000 km. In addition, there is the complete history of revisions, maintenance and invoices.
The Lamborghini that belonged to David Beckham is gray and brings a track with the colors of Italy that crosses the whole car, from the rear to the front. The interior, in turn, is sober with the finish all in black.
The bolide was produced by the Italian brand between 2003 and 2013, when it was replaced by Huracán. The model shared platform and mechanical components with Audi R8. The engine was a V10 with over 500 hp of power that made the coupe accelerate up to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 318 km/h.
