Kush Sinha, son of Shutrughna Sinha, has made her directorial debut with the supernatural thriller mystery film ‘Nikita Roy’. The film was released with ‘Tanvi the Great’ and ‘Saira’, the film is running in the theater for the second week. Recently, Kush Sinha talked about the project coming during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar. He said that some ideas are in mind, but have not started writing yet.

Along with this, Kush expressed his desire to make a biopic of his father Shatrughan Sinha, but there is still no artist in his mind who can play his father. During the conversation, Kush Sinha shared some more things related to ‘Nikita Roy’. Here is some special excerpt ..

Question- Any comment or feedback that has touched the heart?

answer- Many people told me that the film is very exciting. It was not known how two hours passed. I also saw the film with public in the theater, at that time no one was focused on mobile phones. People liked the story, I am very happy with this. Our effort was also that the story was able to touch people in an emotional way.

Question- You have given a new dimension to horror psychological thriller. Horror tricks and vigorous background music did not resort to create fear in this?

answer- Such tricks have to be adopted when there is a weakness in the scene. All the actors of our film have done a great job. His performance was such that I did not have to resort to traditional horror tricks to create fear. The real fear has been felt through atmosphere, camera movement and script. It was also a new experience for me.

Question- Despite the critics and audiences like the film, the box office collection is not as per our expectation. What do you believe in the reason for this?

answer- Box office collection does not happen in our hands. Earlier we tried to get more screen at the time of release, but when some more films are released together, it becomes a bit difficult. ‘Tanvi The Great’ and ‘Saira’ were released with our film. The screen of our film has increased in the second week. I am very happy for Yash Raj’s film ‘Saira’ that this film is being liked a lot.

Question- You are associated with the industry, yet you have a problem in getting distribution and screen of the film. In such a situation, what will happen to those who are coming from outside?

answer- I do not believe this. This is a business. We cannot tell anyone how to run our business. People see their numbers, profits and losses. I would just like to say that we should have done a little better planning.

Question- What kind of feedback did Sonakshi and Paresh Rawal come after the release of the film?

answer- One day Paresh ji asked how the reviews are coming. I said that you are coming well, you are being praised a lot. He said that I know, but thought to ask you. In this way Paresh ji encourages me a lot. Sonakshi was on leave, I did not disturb her. I read in a lot of reviews that Sonakshi is the best performance ever. I was very happy to see that he played his character in a very emotionally manner in the film.

Question- How did you treat Sonakshi on the set?

answer- If I appeared like a brother, the atmosphere on the set would have deteriorated. People feel that work is not being done here properly. Time pass is running only. Even though she is my sister at home, Sonakshi was just an actress for me on the set.

Question- Sonakshi had said that even before that you had heard many scripts to him, but ‘Nikita Roy’ got her best script?

answer- As long as the actor does not connect with the script, his performance is not seen on the screen. I later realized that all the actors felt that their character was in power.

Question- What were the challenges at the time of the release of the film?

Question- Together, big films were being released. We had to make the right strategy for the film how to release? I am the director of the film, the biggest role in this was that the producer was to join the film with whom he has to release the film.

Question- You said that the name can only get the opening, but the identity will be made by work. Now what is going to look different to the audience?

Question- The effort will be to do something different. Which is entertaining with real and unique. There should be a message that would not be forced. Gave the message that we had to give in ‘Nikita Roy’. Whatever the viewers are behind him. I’m with him.

Question- You have said a lot through the film, what message do you want to give to the society?

answer- Instead of spending time on social media, stay in the real world. Spend more time with your friends and parents. I think it will be much better for society.

Question- A lot of affairs keep flying on social media about celebs, trolls and hate comments have to be faced. How do you handle it?

answer- I am not very active on social media. Sonakshi once said that she becomes irritated by social media comments. If you know your truth then you can handle. I do not pay much attention to social media, but it is the truth that it is becoming difficult for many people.

Question- Many media houses pay so much attention to social media that they make news without the test of truth. This was also enough at the time of Sonakshi’s wedding. How much did it affect and how did they come out?

answer- I do not affect anything from all these things. When I know my truth, then if someone speaks something, what will be the difference. If any of my close friends and family members say that they do not like anything, then I will listen to them and think. I do not take the internet matter seriously.

Question- What was the reaction of Shatru Sir after the release of the film?

answer- Papa said that he has made a good film. Do not lose courage. It often happens that the film is not as expected. People are praising because the film is good.

Question- Would the enemy like to do a biopic of the head?

answer- I would definitely like to do, but the question is that there will be a lot of problem in casting. There is no such artist who can play the character of Papa.

Question- Which of their things affect you more?

answer- His confidence affects me a lot. He never gave up in life. They believe a lot in themselves. It is not a matter of ego, but their specialty.

Question- What was the reaction after watching Mummy’s film?

answer- Mummy and her friends also liked the film very much. I used to think that seniors would not like the film so much, but he had a different view of the film. Most people reacted here that it is a very exciting and real film.

Question- You do not think that according to the theme of the film, its publicity should have been planned separately?

answer- Should have done. The film was a little late. The release date came again. It seems to me that our film’s publicity could not be done compared to the rest of the films. I will never consider my producer wrong in this. He has worked very hard. Bringing the film to the theater is a big thing today. A film that is not a romantic action.

Question- After coming in direction, a director gave any tips?

answer- Subhash Ghai ji liked the film very much. My mother ties her rakhi for many years. He said that the film is going to the zone of Al Pincho. This thing is very important to me. Ramesh Sippy sir called Papa after watching the film and said that the film looked very exciting.

Question- Have you started writing on the next project?

answer- Some ideas are in mind, but have not started writing yet. I am still associated with ‘Nikita Roy’.

Question- Would you like to do something for OTT?

answer- I would definitely like to do it. If the story has power, then one does not have to play the box office game on OTT. Anyway, the box office is not under our control. If someone says that every film of his is running at the box office, he lies.
