Actress Smriti Irani recently said that she had to return to the set of television shows just three days after her son’s birth.
In Raj Shamani’s podcast, Smriti told that the popularity of her show ‘Because Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ was so much that the audience wanted to watch a new episode every night at 10:30 pm. For this reason, he had to return to work early.
Smriti said that she returned to work even after miscarriage. She was working with two producers. At that time, a producer Ravi Chopra gave him a week off, but the other producer Ekta Kapoor did not have such an option as the show was daily telecast.
Smriti’s son Johar was born in October 2001.
Smriti told,
A team member of the production told Ekta that we are ready for shooting, but Smriti Irani is not available. She is lying. Nothing has happened to them. I had to bring the hospital report to prove that I have been miscarried.
Smriti was shooting until just before delivery
Smriti also told that she was working till the ninth month of pregnancy. He had to pay the EMI of the house, so he did two consecutive shows, whether family and doctors advised rest. However, when she was hospitalized, she was expelled from the show ‘Kuch Dil Se’.
Smriti said,
I was shooting the show (some heart from) until a day before delivery. Then he was hospitalized and from there I got a message ‘You have been fired.’ He waited for my hospital to be admitted and then removed me.
The show ‘Kuch Dil Se’ used to appear on SAB TV. Smriti was not only its host, but also contributed to research and scripting.
Smriti said that the show’s team had already shot a 30 -day content so that they could be removed and brought to someone else. He said that his intention was that someone else should benefit from my work.
Smriti will soon be seen once again with her famous character Tulsi Veerani because mother -in -law will be seen in daughter -in -law Kabhi 2. The show will start from July 29 on Star Plus and Jio Hotstar.
