Acting inspired by watching the film ‘Border’
Once I was asked to perform at school. At the same time I saw the film ‘Border’. Performed a scene of the same film. Everyone praised a lot. I think the seed of performing art was born there. My mother also used to play during college. Because of that, acting was somewhere in my blood. In the 9th grade, I wrote, directed and played the lead in it. The winner was the winner in the state level competition in Jammu and Kashmir. Gradually, confidence in me increased in me.
Was thinking of preparing for law or UPSC
She came to Delhi to study in college. During that time I did not do drama. The college people did not even know that I was interested in plays. I was thinking of preparing for law or UPSC. My parents also wanted the same. I told my father that two years I come to Mumbai.

First break found in ‘Kuch Kuch Alfaz’
I moved to Mumbai in 2014. When I started auditioning, I got a very fun journey. I never felt that I am very struggling. My parents were supporting me. I got a chance to work in the film ‘Kuch Warsi Alfaz’ for the first time. The film was released in 2018. This was a very cute film, still I keep getting messages for this film. The character of this film was very close to my life.
Host ‘Lamhe with Jain’ in radio
Due to ‘Kuchwahi Alphaz’, I got a chance to host ‘Lamhe with Jain’ in 9.7 FM radio. At that time the trend of telling the story on the radio was going on. This series lasted throughout the year.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra had a great impact on me
Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film ‘Shikara’ was auditioned during his first film ‘Kuch warsti alphaz’. At the same time I met Vinod Sir. They make any film with some time. The shooting of ‘Shikara’ began after the release of the first film. He is from Kashmir where I am. He also comes from a Punjabi speaking family like me. He has done a great job in the industry. They have great influence on me.
Vinod sir gave it to read ‘paper flower’
Vinod used to watch sir during the shooting of ‘Shikara’. I got to learn a lot from him, which cannot be described in words. He is completely immersed in his work and works very happily. I am very fond of reading. I also start reading the script of others. Vinod sir gave me the script of ‘paper flower’ to read. After reading the script in one and a half days, he was very happy.

Akshay sir taught action
Akshay sir respects his work a lot. I worked with him in the film ‘Bell Bottom’. They sit very rarely in Vanity One. Used to come on time. The producer was never waiting on the set. I played the role of Villain in that film. For the first time in the film, I was doing an action scene. During an action sequence, my hand felt loud to them. He lovingly explained to me how to do the scene? While that work was of the action director.
Akshay Sir is blessing for nuclear
In a scene I had to push the door hard. Akshay sir was not needed in that scene, yet he was standing behind the door by tying a pad in the leg. In a scene, the jeep was to be jumped which could be filmed on his duplicate, but he also did that shot himself. Nuclear gets to learn a lot by seeing them. She is a blessing for the newcomer.
Akshay’s grandmother was from Kashmir
When I told him that I am from Kashmir, he said that his grandmother was from Kashmir. Akshay sir is very fondly dealt with with people. During the shooting, we make the atmosphere so comfortable that we do not know that we are shooting. It was a very funny experience to work with him and got to learn a lot.

‘Informer’ recognized OTT
As soon as the shooting of the film ‘Bell Bottom’ ended, the G5 show was offered to work in the informer: The Story of a Spy. In this, I played an Indian detective, Harfan Bukhari. When he is sent to spy in Pakistan, then Kamran keeps his name Baksh. I got a different identity from this series. It has got a different experience working with Prakash Raj sir. They speak many languages.

There are a lot of challenges, but Peshan is very important. Many times it happens that a project wants very heartily, but it does not start. There were many challenges during Kovid.
