Telugu cinema workers have been on strike for the last 8 days. He has demanded an increase in salary. There were reports that South Superstar Chiranjeevi met workers and assured them of change. However, now Chiranjeevi has called these reports baseless. The actor has made it clear that he has not met the workers.

Chiranjeevi wrote a clarification on rumors on her official X account (first Twitter )-

It has come to my attention that some people, who call themselves members of the Film Federation, are falsely claiming that I have met them and have assured that their 30% increment will be met and I am going to start shooting very soon. I want to clarify that I have not met anyone in the Federation. This is an industry-level issue and no one can solve this problem through any unilateral assurance.

Further, the actor has written, the Telugu film industry’s highest organization is the Film Chamber and only the film Chamber will collectively discuss with all the concerned parties, reaching a fair solution. Till then it is unacceptable to make such false claims. I strongly condemn all the baseless and purposeful claims that are being made to create confusion among all stakeholders. Please note.

What is the whole matter?

The Telugu Industry Workers Federation has started a strike from the first week of August, demanding a 30 percent increase in salary. This strike has stopped shooting Telugu films. Workers demand that they will not start shooting since their salary is increased.

Let us know that the discussion between Telugu film Chamber and Telugu Film Producers Council and Workers Federation has been discussing for the last several months to increase the salary of workers. However, even after long discussion, no result has been found.
