‘War 2’ was being called the biggest spy-action film of this year. Expectations with stars like Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor were also on the sky. But where the film meets the international level in terms of Vijuali and action, it proves weak in the story and emotional connect. The length of this film is 2 hours 41 minutes. The film has been rated by Dainik Bhaskar 2 out of 5 stars.

What is the story of the film?

The film begins with Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), which is shown doing a contract killing. He works closely with a network named ‘Kali’ and under this plan Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana) is killed. On the other hand, the mission of Raghu alias Major Vikram (Junior NTR) is to end Kabir. But the story takes a twist when it is known that Kabir and Raghu have a childhood relationship. One stands against the country and the other is fighting as a warrior for the country. After all, who will win in the climax and who will lose, this suspense holds the film till the end.

How is the acting of Starcast?

Hrithik Roshan is once again stylish and powerful, his action scenes are worth watching. Junior NTR has shown power in the role of Major Vikram and gives weight to his emotional angle story. Kiara Advani got less screen space, but she made her presence felt. Anil Kapoor’s role is interesting, but less than expected, his track could be further extended. Ashutosh Rana looks strong as always.

How is the film direction and technical aspect?

Ayan Mukherjee’s direction is grand. High-octane action sequences, foreign locations and large-scale sets give the film a global look. Some action scenes are really Edge-of-the-SEAT. But the length of 2 hours 41 minutes is overshadowed. The screenplay is weak and in many places the film seems to be excessive.

Had the editing been tight, the effect would have been deeper. Alam was that when the film would end, the film had to wait for it. In this film, an attempt was made to put an unnecessary twist which seems more exciting and boring. Cinematic liberty is very much taken, logic will be seen flying in the air, many scenes are innocent.

How is the music of the film?

The songs of the film are ‘Awan Jawan’ and ‘Janabe Ali’ are popular and Peppi, which brings a little beauty. The background score gives the action sequence the right mood, but sometimes seems to be a reputative.

Final Wordict, see or not?

War 2 is for you if you want to see the action and international level visuals on the big screen of Hrithik and Junior NTR. But if you are looking for a solid story, emotional depth and low -duration film, it may find you a little long and noisy.
