The film Anjya: The Untold Story of a Yogi made on UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has got the permission to release from Bombay High Court. The court on Monday directed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to pass the film for release without any cut or change.

In fact, after refusing to give a certificate from CBFC, the makers of the film moved the court. In such a situation, the court itself saw the film on August 21 and said that there is nothing in the film to prevent him from giving a certificate.

However, during the hearing, CBFC lawyer Ram Apte said in the court that the film has some pornographic scenes and it can harm Chief Minister Adityanath’s image.

In such a situation, the court asked the lawyer if he had seen the film, he refused. On this, the court said that there is neither pornography in the film nor any scene harming the image of the Chief Minister. We also looked carefully at every scene that had complained about, but nothing was found wrong in the film.

The court further suggested that if CBFC wants, you can get it written in the film that this story is completely based on imagination. The petitioners gave the court a new disclaimer, which was approved by the court and said it should be linked with the film.

Let me tell you, CBFC had asked to cut 29 places in the film. Then his revision committee reduced this number to 21. But the makers did not agree with this decision, so they moved to the court.

The film is based on the book

Let us know that this film is inspired by Shantun Gupta’s book ‘The Monk Hu Bikem Chief Minister’. Which is based on the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The film will show the struggles from Yogi Adityanath from childhood to becoming the Chief Minister. The film will have a great mix of drama, emotion, action and sacrifice. This biopic will also introduce the audience to the changing equations of politics, religion and society.
