Abhimanyu’s Fierce Confrontation with the Dayaan in “1029 Ki Aakhri Dastak” on July 27, 2024
In the episode of “1029 Ki Aakhri Dastak” aired on July 27, 2024, Abhimanyu faces a chilling encounter with the dayaan. Recalling his past experiences with her at the khandar, Abhimanyu is determined not to fall for her tricks. He demands that she come down and show her face or he will shoot. Abhimanyu fires his gun, causing the dayaan to fall from her swing, but she quickly rises. She taunts him, asking if he is there to give her the baby she desires, warning that all his efforts to save the village will be in vain. Then, she vanishes.
Pawan looks extremely scared. Preeti arrives and tries to calm him down, urging him to open his eyes. Pawan’s father’s condition deteriorates, leading to a seizure. Shastri and his aide arrive and burn the swing. Shastri blames Abhimanyu for the chaos in the village, accusing him of ignoring the reality of the dayaan’s existence.
Preeti and Abhimanyu bring Pawan back home. Pawan looks defeated, but Abhimanyu tries to reassure him, saying nothing has happened. Chachi, however, slaps Abhimanyu, accusing him of endangering their lives. She demands that he find another place to stay and leave. Preeti defends Abhimanyu, explaining that while he doesn’t believe in the supernatural, Pawan does. Chachi angrily tells Preeti to be quiet, saying they’ve had enough.
Feeling defeated and heartbroken, Abhimanyu retreats inside and sits alone. Machhar Singh approaches him, asking if he still doubts the existence of the dayaan. Machhar explains that it was the dayaan who tried to kill Pawan, and he had fired at her but she didn’t die. He urges Abhimanyu to accept the reality of the dayaan. Frustrated, Abhimanyu dismisses Machhar’s claims, throws away the crime story board, and breaks a flower pot. He screams at Preeti and Machhar, insisting that the dayaan isn’t real and that he isn’t mad.
Elsewhere, Bindu is seen wearing a saree and swinging in her house. She and the Maharani express their anticipation for this day, believing the time has finally come. As Abhimanyu takes a shower, he reflects on all the incidents that have occurred in the village since his arrival. Bindu prepares for her final task, testing the hair of different men in the village to find the one most capable of fulfilling her plan. She determines that Abhimanyu is the best match and believes she will soon have him under her control. Abhimanyu, overwhelmed by his thoughts, screams in the shower.
The episode ends with Bindu discovering that Abhimanyu is her best option for achieving her goals, setting the stage for an intense confrontation.
