Popular villain Kota Srinivas of South, who played Villain in famous films like Son of Satyamurthy, Temper, Yevdu, has passed away on 13 July. The actor was 83 years old. He celebrated his 83rd birthday on 10 July. The actors were ill for a long time.
Kota Srinivas breathed his last in the early hours of the morning in the bungalow in Jubilee Hill, Hyderabad. Kota Srinivas has acted in more than 750 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. In 2015, he was awarded the Padma Shri.
The last rites of Kota Srinivas will take place in Hyderabad today.
Apart from successful film career, Kota Srinivas has also played an important role in politics. From 1999 to 2004, he has been an MLA from Vijayawada East in Andhra Pradesh.
