The popular dance reality show Super Dancer is making a comeback with its fifth season. The show will be telecast from 19 July. There will be 12 contestants in the new season, which will have to perform in collaboration with choreographers. This time the theme of the show is ‘the internet which the star, now the stage will make them superstar’.
Four contestants Barkat, Adhyashree, Somansh and Namish, who participated in the show, interacted with Dainik Bhaskar. During this time his mothers also shared their experience.
You are going to be seen in Super Dancer Chapter 5. What are you preparing for this?
Barkat- I feel very good and my preparation is also going very well. It was my dream to participate in the super dancer. When I sleep at night, I think that one day I will go on stage and catch the trophy. A super dancer runs all the time in my heart and mind. However, along with this my studies continue.
Adhyashree- I feel very proud of myself. The super dancer has always been my dream and now that dream is being fulfilled, so I am very excited. Whenever I talk to someone or go somewhere, I just talk about the super dancer. Ever ask, will I win? Or what to do next? The only super dancer keeps going in my mind all the time.
Sonsansh- As you know, every child dreams to perform in a super dancer. When that dream is fulfilled, it seems as if the whole life has become magical. It is a matter of pride in itself to perform on such a big stage. When we were 3 or 4 years old, we used to see super dancers with our mother. At that time only looked on TV and now performing on the same stage is a very big achievement.
Namish, I am also very happy. To be honest, I am probably the most happy. When I was younger, I used to see a super dancer with my mother and then I was determined that one day I have to come on this show. It became my dream. Now when that dream has come true, it looks great.
Who are your choreographer and what bonding do you have from them?
Sonsansh- My choreographer is Vaibhav sir, the most senior choreographer. Whenever I looked at him on TV, I thought when I would dance with him. And now I am getting that chance. I always learn from Vaibhav sir that the victory and victory keeps on going, but most important it is that you keep learning continuously.
Adhyashree- My choreographer is waiting mam. He is very good and intelligent. I always have relaxed with me. If I ever get nervous, she supports me and says that everything will be alright. If my mood is bad then she brings chocolate for me. I love working with them.
Namish- My choreographer is Subronil Sir. He is also a calm nature like me. We both talk to our dance. Our dance style also matches well, so it is very fun to dance with them.
Barkat- When I first met Prateek Sir, I thought who is this? Earlier I used to watch every Friday night movie, but then started watching the super dancer. Seeing one of his performances, it was revealed that he is my choreographer. He is a very funny person.
All of you are already trending stars on social media, so are you getting any benefit of this fame?
Namish- I think my followers have increased considerably after the promo. Not only this, perhaps the pages of my fans have also started forming.
Sonsansh- Followers do not matter much to me. But yes, earlier people used to love us and now they are getting more support. This is the most important thing.
Adhyashree- After the arrival of the promo, my followers have increased even more. Whenever the promo comes, I show my villagers and feel very proud. I like it all very good and happiness.
Barkat- I do not care about social media, only my mother sees my account. But when someone clicks a photo from me, I wonder what is happening.
Your children are going to be seen in Super Dancer Chapter 5. How are you feeling?
Somansh’s mother- Looks great. Not only me, the whole family is very happy. Our dream was that our child got a big platform and now it is coming true. I brought Somansh to Mumbai from a small town in Uttarakhand so that he could learn dance well and earn a name. Now that his hard work is bringing color, then he feels proud.
Adhyashree’s mother- I am from a small village in Assam. It was a big step for me to bring Adhyashree here. He always had a dream that he came in a super dancer. When we saw his dedication and hard work, we also decided to support him. Now when she is standing on the stage after coming to Mumbai, I am very proud.
Namish’s mother- Initially we did not know that Namish was so interested in dance. But now that he has reached Mumbai, the whole family and our society are very proud of him. Yes, sometimes there are difficulties. Come and go by local train, manage school and dance together. But when the child is moving forward, I forget all the fatigue.
