Actress Aditi Shetty is seen in season 2 of web series Rana Naidu these days. In this, he plays Tasneem, who is the role of a powerful woman. During a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Aditi told what preparations he made to play this character. He also talked about his personal life.
How was the experience of working in web series Rana Naidu?
The experience of working in Rana Naidu web series was very special and memorable for me. This was nothing short of a blessing for me. The entire team is very good and professional. If I talk about the artists, it was a big thing for me to work with brilliant actors like Rana Daggubati, Sushant Singh, Arjun Rampal and Abhishek Banerjee. I learned a lot from all these. It was also very good to work with the directors and the rest of the crew. Overall, my experience was very good.
What would you like to say about your character?
In this series, I am playing the role of Tasneem, who is a stunt woman. This character is of a very strong and self -sufficient woman. Tasneem is one of the selected women in Rana’s world who can stand in front of anyone and fight for their rights.
I also found this character special because it is not only physically strong, but also emotionally very grounded. Another beautiful aspect is that a very cute love story is also shown between me and Abhishek Banerjee’s character.
While there is action and intensity drama throughout the series, this love story also gives an emotional connection to the audience, which is very rare in today’s time.
How much does Tasneem’s character coincide with your real life personality or how different is it?
Aditi and Tasneem are quite different from each other. I am going to speak very fast and in a hurry in real life, while Tasneem talks very carefully. When Tasneem says something, people listen to him carefully. Tasneem is very bold and straight forward. She knows how to get her work out of others and she does not bow down to anyone. While I am a little different in real life.
How nervous did you have while doing an action scene with Rana Daggubati? Did he say a word that has given you a motivation?
When I came to know that my Rana is a one-on-one action scene with Daggubati Sir, I was very happy, but equally nervous. There were many questions in the mind. How to do, what will I be able to do properly? But as soon as I reached the set, everything became easy on its own.
Rana sir made the atmosphere so normal that nervousness gradually ended. He was very calm and collaborative on the set. He never let me feel that I am new or doing something wrong.
You also auditioned for its first season, but got rejections. How was it felt at that time and now when you are part of the second season, how do you feel?
See, no one liked the rejection, I did not even think. Yes, there was some disappointment, because I wanted to be a part of the first season. But I also understand that there is no selection in every audition. It is part of the process and it learns.
When I came to know that its second season was coming, I reached to audition again without any hesitation. This time I was selected and I got a chance to play a great character.
Are you satisfied with the career from modeling till now?
Yes, I can say that I am satisfied with my career. I will not say that I am at the peak of career right now, but gradually I am moving forward and making good progress. I have won many beauty pages, have walked many ramps, have worked in TV shows and are now doing OTT platforms. In this journey, I have got a chance to learn and do a lot and I am happy with my career so far.
There were reports that you are going to get married soon. Is there any truth to that?
What should I say on these news. These are all rumors, there are speculations made by people. I never said that I was going to get married. These things never came from me. Yes, whenever I get married, I will definitely tell myself.
