Actress Tridha Chaudhary’s film ‘So Long Valley’, who made a special place in the hearts of the audience with her acting in the popular web series ‘Ashram’, is going to release on 25 July. Hall Tridha and the film’s producer-director and actor Man Singh spoke to Dainik Bhaskar.
Sharing an anecdote during the shooting, Tridha told that she was saved from falling. At the same time, Man Singh said that a lot of lack and less resources have been made. Question- How did you think of taking Tridha Chaudhary in the film?
Answer/ Man Singh- The connection of this film is very close to real life. When the script of the film was completed, the casting director of the film suggested to cast Tridha Chaudhary. I am very inspired by Tridha’s natural acting.
When a coop acting naturally, it has a different feel on the screen. Tridha has brought her character to life in the film. I think no one could be better than them for this character.
Question- Tridha, you have played many different challenging characters. Never typped, this time you will be seen in the role of Cop. What was the process?
Answer/Tridha Chaudhary- The best process project has to be selected. After that I think the kind of character in the film. Will I be able to do justice to him? I am playing the role of Himachali Cop in it. It is a different type of character. I took it as a challenge.
Question- You are very different in real life. Your character shows a seriousness and stagnation. How does she bring?
Answer/Tridha Chaudhary- Navaras is very important in the life of a human being. The same thing also happens in the character. The rest of the film’s directors guide how to improve the character. Although there was a little nervous at first, the team got such that everything became comfortable.
Question- Man, you have also acted in the film. What kind of experience was it?
Answer/Man Singh- I am playing the role of a little stubborn copy in it. It has been a very funny experience. I have seen in Manali that the police officers are very cute in appearance, but the criminals are very strictly treated. I saw them, observed and tried to take off the role.
Question- Today it is not easy to make a film and reach the theater. How did you do this?
Answer/Man Singh- When you start living a process, then good people start joining. The journey of this film is also the same. Thought, wrote then shooting. Good people joined and the film is releasing in the theater.
Question- Tridha, you must have seen such Ladies Singham a lot in real life, your character is inspired by someone?
Answer/Tridha Chaudhary- I saw this character not from the perspective of a police officer, but also from the perspective of a woman. I think a woman has a lot of strength. There are many women who have increased by seeing. I am an inspiration from there.
Actor Man Singh is also the producer-director of the film.
Question- What kind of challenges came during the shooting?
Answer/Man Singh- The entire shooting of this film has been done at the actual location of Manali. At that time there was minus intake temperature. There were some difficulties, but everyone worked very hard.
Question- What is the USP of this film, what kind of reactions did people get after watching the trailer of the film?
Answer/Man Singh- We have taken a lot of care that people connect with this film. Crime-thriller is a thing between our society. There are many accidents between the cab driver and the passenger. All such things will be seen in this film.
Question- Any memorable moments during the shooting you want to share?
Answer/Tridha Chaudhary- We shot the climax in the jungle. When we play the character, there is no attention on the things around. I was about to fall there suddenly, but survived. That scene is also a part of this film.
Man Singh- He was shooting for 6 consecutive hours in the forest. During that time Tridha did not sit on the chair. When the artists live their character, they have a different kind of energy. They do not matter in which environment they are shooting. It will take all action and fight sequences real.
Question- Man, you have made a beautiful film from a small town and made a very beautiful film. Embractive ahead?
Answer/Man Singh- Just keep going well and keep making good films. It is about this film, we have made it with great dedication and dedication.
Question- How can you overcome with ups and downs?
Answer/Man Singh- When it seems that someday the struggle has become more then I relax. The next day, I start work with new energy and thinking. I believe that without taking leave without taking leave, the paths will be made automatically.
Question- You came to act, where did you learn the direction?
Answer/Man Singh- When I was performing in the theater under the guidance of Satyadev Dubey. Then I got to learn a lot. In addition to acting in the theater, everything has to be done. Amrish Puri Sahab was doing a drama ‘one and a half inches up’. I was a back stage.
Seeing them performing, I got to learn a lot. One day suddenly went on a set, the director of the second unit did not come there. There I got a chance to direct for the first time. I felt that I could direct further. Earlier, some short films were directed.
Question- Have you ever thought about direction?
Answer/Tridha Chaudhary- Whatever happens in the creative field, everyone should learn. I asked someone why there is no ladies cinematographer? There can be many reasons for this. This does not mean that I want to become a cinematographer. If you get a chance of direction, then it will be fun, but it is not necessary that it is a film.
