Kannada actress and former MP from Mandya Ramya alias Divya Spandana on Monday filed a complaint against the fans of actor Darshan Thugudipa, who were constantly threatening the actress to rape and kill the actress. These threats were received when the actress demanded justice in the Renukaswamy murder case, whose main suspected actor Darshan is Thugudipa.
Ramya has filed this complaint at the Police Commissioner’s Office and State Women Commission. Their complaint has been accepted and sent to the cybercrime branch. There has been a complaint against 43 social media accounts in this case. At the same time, in a conversation with the media, the actress said that she is a habit of trolling social media due to being a celebrity, but she never had experience to this extent. The actress also said that she has received threats from several accounts, but she has only complained against her, whose comments were really vulgar and threatened.
The actress has said that she had shared a news related to the Supreme Court proceedings in the Renukaswamy murder case on July 24, in which she demanded justice for the victim’s family.
Recently, the Supreme Court had rebuked the Karnataka High Court for bailing the main suspect of the Renukaswamy murder case, Kannada actor Darshan Thugudipa. After this, the actress shared a post and wrote, the Supreme Court is a ray of hope for the general public of India. Renukaswamy’s family should get justice.
Renukaswamy was killed last year
Kannada actor Darshan Thuggudpa is accused of killing fan Renukaswamy. Renukaswamy’s body was found on 9 June last year near an apartment in Kamapakripa area of Bengaluru.
According to police investigation, 33 -year -old deceased Renukaswamy was a fan of actor Darshan. In January 2024, Kannada actress Pavitra Gowda celebrated her 10th anniversary with darshan. This led to the relationship of both of them in controversies, as Darshan is already married.
Renukaswamy was very angry with this news. He was constantly messaging Pavitra and asking him to stay away from philosophy. Initially, Pavitra ignored her messages, but later Renukaswamy started threatening with objectionable messages.
Pavitra then instigated Darshan to kill Renukaswamy. He also asked him to punish. Darshan got Renukaswami kidnapped with the help of his colleagues. All took him to a godown. Where he was tortured before killing him.

According to the police, Darshan and his associates in Godown beat Renukaswamy fiercely, killing him. After the murder, the colleagues of Darshan were blown with blood. He went from the nearby Reliance Store nearby and bought new clothes and changed there.
When the police investigated around the crime scene, they were seen darshan and actress Pavitra in CCTV footage. From 11 am to 3 pm, both of their mobile numbers were active in the same area. On this basis, Darshan and Pavitra Gowda were arrested on 11 June 2024.
