Son of Sardar 2 is a film that also adds a little emotion and today’s family dynamics, keeping the laughter and fun of its first part. The sequel often adds both expectations and pressure. This film does not descend completely on those expectations, but is definitely successful in winning hearts in many places. The length of this film is 2 hours 27 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has rated the film a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

How is the story of the film?
Jassi (Ajay Devgan) arrives at United Kingdom to improve his relationship with his wife Dimple (Neeru Bajwa), but is shocked. Dimple now wants divorce. Meanwhile, she meets Rabia (Mrinal Thakur), who earns a dance group in weddings.
Rabia’s friend’s daughter Saba wants to marry in a Punjabi family, but her staunch father -in -law Raja Sandhu (Ravi Kishan) needs “Sanskari Indian daughter -in -law”. If Pakistani Rabia does not fit on this, then Jassi becomes fake Indian Army Father. This is where comedy, confusion and emotional drama begins.
How is the acting of Starcast?
Ajay Devgan plays Jassi with full ease. Most in comic timing and also honest in emotional parts. Mrinal Thakur looks fresh and beautiful in her first comedy film. She shares a good chemistry with Ajay Devgan and is seen in full fun. Deepak Dobriyal wins the heart in the role of ‘Gul’. He has given dignity to the transgender character with a humor.
Ravi Kishan makes the audience laugh a lot with his desi style and cool dialogue delivery. However, a great artist like Sanjay Mishra is less used. Their parts should have been more punch. The rest of the cast Kubra Saat, Dolly Ahluwalia, Ashwini Kalsekar, Vindu Dara Singh also fit in the film’s mood.

How is the film direction and technical side?
Vijay Kumar Arora has made an honest attempt to balance such a big cast and many subplots. The film is a bit dull. It takes time to setup the story in the first 15-20 minutes, which feels a bit cumbersome.
But as soon as the characters like Rabia and Raja Sandhu are entry, the speed and tone of the film shifts up completely. Some scenes seem to be drawn in the second half. If he was tightened, the film could have been more spicy. If there was a little more tricks in the dialogues, there could be laughter opportunities and fun.
The director’s humer sense shines most when Sunny Deol’s blockbuster ‘Border’ in the film has been recreated in such a fun and comic manner that you will be laughing. This moment is one of the high points of the film.

How is the music of the film?
Songs like ‘Pahil Tu Anu Tu’, ‘Nazar Buttu’ and ‘Nachdi’ match the film’s energy and tone. The shooting of songs is colored, grand and associated with the story. They do not just give brakes, but also set the mood.
Final Wordict, see or not?
If you want to watch a mild, clean family film that has fun with laughter, relationship and a little stupid, then ‘Son of Sardar 2’ is fine for you.
