Director Ashwin Kumar’s recently released animation film Mahavatar Narasimha is winning the hearts of the audience and is at the box office. Produced by Cleem Productions and Hombale Films, it is the first installment of the seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe based on the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
Recently, during a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, the director said on comparing his film to Saira that the audience has appreciated Prem Bhava in both films. In the second install of the cinematic universe, the avatar of Lord Parashurama will be seen. Read some more major parts of the conversation ..
Question- Your plan is to show 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu in Mahavatar, whose avatar will be seen after Narasimha?
answer- We are showing 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu in seven films. After Mahavatar Narasimha, the avatar of Lord Parashurama will be seen. This is a very tremendous incarnation of God. He corrected all the things in the system which was not right. It is very important to bring his story in today’s time.
Question- Earlier, separate animated series were made on God in which the voice of some star was used, whereas in your film not so?
answer- We dedicate the image to each other. In the image of God to God and human being. I wanted people to see God and devotee Prahlada. Learn what you learn from it. We did not want the voice of film stars to dominate our content.
Question- What kind of change has happened in the animation industry in India after this film? Is there a big work about VFX?
answer- VFX and animation are something that we were doing for outside countries. Now the time has come to do this work for your country, stories and your people. In this, Hombale Films is far ahead. They have held our hand. Now we want to do something so that do not miss Hollywood films.
Question- Mahavatar Narasimha’s roar between Saira is being heard, is it a victory for Sanatan?
answer- I do not see from the perspective of defeating anyone. I think this is the victory of the audience. In Saira, the love of lover couple and in our film, the audience has appreciated the love of God. I did not think that the audience would like our film in this way. This makes sense that even today, there is a lot of devotion and love in the heart of the audience.
