Childhood is spent in a very average and simple environment
Manisha Koirala has studied early from Basant Kanya College, Banaras. Manisha Koirala says- In childhood, the atmosphere of my house was the same as that of a freedom fighter’s house. At home, idealistic people, professors, writers, intellectuals, politicians, thinkers used to come to all kinds of people. There were more than ten people in our house and the cost of the entire house used to run for three to five thousand rupees. My childhood has been spent in a very average and simple environment.
From the age of 3, Manipuri, Bharatanatyam and Kathak started learning
Manisha Koirala’s grandmother was Bharatanatyam and Manipuri dancers and mother Kathak was a dancer. Manisha says- There was a big atmosphere of classical song and music at my house. From the age of 3, I started learning Manipuri, Bharatanatyam and Kathak. There was a lot of mind in sports in school. We used to play a lot of basketball. I have also played basketball on ‘State-Level’. We used to ‘bunk’ class and go for basketball practice.
Used to eat tiffin of friends in school
Even after belonging to the political family, Manisha Koirala’s house was not good food and drink. Manisha had told- My friends had much better than me. My tiffin used to eat big boring, while friends of friends used to give bread, pickle, vegetables. I used to wait for ‘Interval’ since I went to school. Not an actress, wanted to become a doctor
After this, Manisha Koirala came to Delhi for his studies. He was admitted to Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan in Delhi. At that time she wanted to become a doctor.
