Bhalla died of brain stroke at the age of 65 on the morning of 22 August. He was born on 4 May 1960 in Doraha town of Ludhiana. On the death of Bhalla, along with the big personalities of the Punjabi film industry, well-known personalities related to politics and society also came to pay tribute.
Funeral performed in Mohali
On August 23, Jaswinder Bhalla was cremated in Mohali, where son Pukhraj lit him. During this time, Punjabi stars Gippy Grewal and Beenu Dhillon wept in an emotional atmosphere. A large number of fans gathered at the crematorium. Strict police arrangements were made to handle the crowd.
