A case has been registered against Tamilga Vatri Kazhagam (TVK) leader and actor Thalapati Vijay and his bouncers. It is alleged in the case that a worker was injured in a party conference held in Madurai on August 21.
The police have registered a case against Vijay and his security staff under several sections of BNS.
According to the report of India Today, the complaint has been lodged by Sharat Kumar. He says that he was trying to climb the ramp that was winning. Then the bouncers pushed them. Sharat said that he tried to handle himself by holding the pipe, but finally fell down and got hurt in his chest.
A video of the incident has also surfaced. In this, Sharat can be seen slipping from the ramp. He first holds the railing but after some time the hands are left and falls down.

The video showed that the bouncers had pushed the worker hard.

However, the video also showed that after the incident, Vijay asked his bouncers to treat them a little comfortably.

Complainant Sharat Kumar said, “I wanted to see them, so climbed the ramp. The bouncers pushed and I got hurt. That is why I have filed a complaint and demanded action against those responsible.”
Millions of supporters were gathered in this conference held at Parapathy, Madurai. The program began with cultural presentations, flag hoisting and resolve of party leaders.
Vijay reached the stage in a grand style from the 300 meter long ramp. Meanwhile, Sharat tried to see him closely.
