The Malayalam Movie Artist Association (AMMA) was elected on 15 August. This time women have won the top three posts including the president. Actress Shweta Menon Malayalam Movie Artist Association has become the first female president. By doing this, he has created history.
Shweta has won against actor and BJP leader Devan. In this election, Shweta got 159 votes, while her rival Devan got 132 votes. Out of 504 members of AMMA, only 298 had come to vote at the polling center in Kochi. It included many high-profile names including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier and Indrajit.

Along with Shweta, actress Kukku Parameswaran has been elected General Secretary, while actress Ansiba Hasan has returned to the committee as Joint Secretary. In addition, Jayan Cherthla and Lakshmi Priya were elected presidents and Unni Shivpal has been appointed as treasurer.
According to The Hindu, after the victory, Shweta Menon said, ‘You said that Amma needs a female leadership and today the day has come. Those who left the organization due to disagreement, I will personally call them back. ‘
At the same time, after losing the election to Shweta, actor Devan congratulated him and said, ‘Shweta is entitled to this post. He contested and won. I am very happy for them. ‘

Shweta was also seen in Salman Khan’s film ‘Bandhan’.
Please tell that Shweta was recently registered an FIR on charges of obscenity. These FIRs were lodged by the Ernakulam Central Police of Kerala. This action was taken under Section 67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
According to The Hindu report, the FIR alleged that Shweta did scenes in some films in which pornography was shown. These films include ‘Paleri Manikyam’, ‘Ratnirvedam’, ‘Kalimannu’ (which featured the real video of his delivery) and a condom brand advertisement. It is alleged that some parts of these films and advertisements have appeared on social media and adults websites. The complaint states that such content was used to gain popularity and earning.
