Anupam Kher’s film Tanvi The Great, based on Autism and Indian Army, took a special screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday. Along with President Draupadi Murmu, the film’s starcast also attended the occasion, including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Taker and Shubhangi. After watching the film, the President praised the film with applause.

Anupam Kher shared photos of special screening on his Instagram. In its caption, he wrote, this was the biggest moment of pride for us that the President of the country and the highest commander of the Indian Armed Forces saw our film and finally appreciated it. This dream was like coming true. As a director, getting such support from the country’s biggest post can really be anything for me. The President proved that the tagline of our film is different but not less correct.

Shubhangi Dutt said that we are feeling very good. The President watched the film. He appreciated our work and film. We are in Rashtrapati Bhavan. We are very lucky. We are very grateful. I feel as if I am in a dream.

Let me tell you, apart from Indian actors in this film, some international actors will also be seen. The film stars Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Taker, Nasir, Anupam Kher and Ian Glenn. The film is also associated with Oscar winner music director MM Kirwani and sound designer Resul Pukutty. The film is shot by Japan’s cinematographer Keiko Nakahara.

‘Tanvi the Great’ is being produced in association with Anupam Kher Studios NFDC. The film’s global distribution of the film has been handled by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production company Excel Entertainment and Anil Thadani’s company AA Films. Recently the film was shown in Cannes, where this was well appreciated.
