The whole family used to sleep in the same room

Used to recognize everyone very closely.

All the characters of the house were punched in my mind who appear in films

Anupam Kher has played many characters in films who are inspired by his family. He says- My uncle failed seven times in class VIII. Then he was promoted in 9th. All those characters were so punched in my mind that when I started doing films, I felt that I would play uncle in ‘Dil’. I play someone else in ‘Dil Hai Ko Manta Nahi’.

Staying with a joint family is a different fun

Anupam Kher says- The fun that is enjoyed with the joint family cannot come in the nuclear family. However, now the situation has changed. Now both husband and husband are doing jobs. The foundation of my life was full of happiness. Grandpa used to narrate stories of Mahabharata, Gita and Ramayana every night. If someone was angry, someone was going to celebrate. I learned a lot from these things. So my cousin and their children have a very strong relationship.
