A Mumbai designer has accused Kashish Kapoor of cheating 85 thousand rupees. The designer claims that Kashish Kapoor’s team contacted him a few days ago and asked for a couplebion gown. The designer spoke to the team and gave the gown for two days, but when the gown was returned, she was completely wrapped and torn in the sand. The designer sought compensation from actress Kashish Kapoor, but after postponing for some time, she blocked the designer.
Designer Smita Srinivas has described the entire matter in a social media post. He wrote, Kashish Kapoor cheated me 85000. It is not just about a green counhar gown. This is about how small designers are exploited in the name of collaboration and exposure. The dot media agency took my gown for Kashish Kapoor. I shared the correct size detail which was the small. He needed an extra small, yet he took the gown.
Further designer wrote, the gown came in a completely poor condition, wet, sand -filled and vomiting. This was a counterant piece of 85 thousand rupees, which took weeks to make for weeks. In this condition it is not selling, nor can it be used again. I asked for compensation from them or asked them to buy it. The talk was decided peacefully in 40 thousand. After this, for weeks, we went to the pretext that we will transfer money tomorrow, there is a bank issue, I am traveling, then the final Kashish blocked me. When I approached the agency again, he said that we will promote you on social media instead of compensation. Will this compensate for the loss of counhar pieces.
Designer Smita has also shared screenshots on social media from the collection of collaboration from the message of the collection to compensation in this case. According to his post, the dress was taken from him on 24 June, but he has not received compensation till now.
