Hindustani Bhai alias Vikas Gate had filed a complaint accusing Farah Khan of hurting Hindu sentiments. His petition was heard in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday, where the court has reprimanded Hindustani Bhau. The court says that he has filed a case for coming to the headline and publicity. The court said that they have more than 200 cases, why such issues were brought to the court.
In the Bombay High Court, a bench of Justice Ravindra Ghoga and Gautam Ankhadar heard the petition of Hindustani Bhau, in which he complained saying that Farah had hurt Hindu religious sentiments, calling Holi a festival of penetration. Justice Ravindra Ghoga said to Hindustani Bhau-
Why have you been so hurt? Stop getting so sensitive. We have more than 200 cases for hearing and you are bringing such issues to court, why? For publicity, to bring your name to the headline. Why should such issues be brought to court. He said Chhapari, but you are not a gentleman, so why did you suffer.
In further hearing, Hindustani Bhau’s lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh said that after the complaint, the channel which ran the show, has removed the line from it.
On this, Justice Ravindra Ghoga said-
This means that they have removed this. People have forgotten it now, so why do you want to pursue it. Why did you not go and complain, why did you send a complaint through the first lawyer.
During the hearing, the bench also asked Hindustani Bhau’s lawyer to ask his client to see the channel of National Geography, Travel and Living. He will be happy to see such channels. After the court rebuke, Hindustani Bhau has withdrawn the petition.
What is the whole matter?
Actually, the entire controversy started with an episode of the show ‘Celebrity Master Chef’. Farah was the judge of this show. In an episode of the show, he commented on Holi. He said that Holi is the favorite festival of all the Chhapari boys. This video of Farah went viral on social media, after which he was severely criticized. Due to this comment, Hindustani Bhau had filed a complaint against Farah at Khar police station.
