Comedian Johnny Lever has questioned today’s comedy trend. He said that the use of double meaning jokes has increased in today’s comedy.
In a conversation with actress Kunika Sadanand, Johnny said that many of today’s artists and comedians are following Hollywood only.
Johnny said that now most of the artists only watch English films and try to copy the same content.
Johnny Lever has acted in more than 350 films, including films such as acid, kiss, dangerous and Kishan Kanhaiya.
Johnny Lever also commented on stand-up comedy and said,
The stand-up that has come up now has become a total double meaning, but what we have learned here, we have understood, we are not our school. If we talk about double meaning, then they do not have to stand in front.
Johnny Lever said that it is more difficult to make people laugh with good things. He said that it takes time, but if someone has talent, then he should show it by doing this.
