There is a lot of controversy in West Bengal over ‘The Bengal files’.

Question- What would you like to say about the way the controversy has started about the film?

answer- The dispute has started only in Bengal. What is ‘The Bengal Files’? The story of this film was before my birth, when there were riots in 1946. Its story is based on the incident of Noakhali massacre. We only know that there were murders in Noakhali. No one knows what happened after that. If you want to know the whole truth, you will have to watch the film. Vivek Agnihotri is a maker who does not make fake films. They make films based on the right facts and evidence.

Question- What would you like to say about the kind of bottlenecks that have been put at the time of the trailer launch of the film?

answer- I did not understand why this was done. People did not even see the trailer and started controversy. All this was pre -planned. If there was an objection to a scene after watching the trailer, I would understand that opposition to those people is justified. Before the trailer launch, began to break without seeing the trailer. Give a Hindu abuse there, but if he said anything else, he is not accepted. The rest, you understand what I want to say.

Question- This film will only create debate, or can change politics and society also bring changes?

answer- This is not a political film. We want to present the truth through cinema. Today’s generation does not know what happened in Noakhali massacre. I did not know myself before working in this film. Now after this film, everyone will know what happened really? If people do not want to know the truth and history, it is very sad.

Question- At this time there is a situation of Hindus in Bengal, some people are watching this film with that perspective. What would you like to say?

answer- When this film was being made, there was no such situation. When the film became, everything started happening in Bangladesh. Then how can you say this? If people are connecting with that event, then let it add.

Question- The way an FIR has been registered on Vivek Agnihotri regarding the film in West Bengal. What would you like to say about him?

answer- Those people will do the case, we will go to court. The film will definitely be released. How long will people stop the truth. Stopped the trailer launch event, but could anyone stop looking at the trailer on YouTube? People saw the trailer a lot and got good views.

Question- Gopal Mukherjee’s grandson has said that wrong rhetoric was made by Vivek Agnihotri about his grandfather. The characters of the film are also being shown incorrectly. What would you like to say on this?

answer- After watching the film, say whether it is shown incorrectly or not. Before this, I am not ready to hear anything like this. Because nothing is shown in the wrong way in it.

Question- What is your character in this film and what change will he bring in new thinking?

answer- My character’s name in this film is Mad Man, but he is not really crazy. When he stands up to raise the voice of truth, his tongue is burnt. His men are also cut off, he cannot speak properly. When the end of the film comes, it is revealed that it is the soul of the film.

Question- When Vivek Agnihotri told about your character, what was the best thing for you and what was your reaction?

answer- The best thing about this film is that Vivek has made this film based on the right facts and evidence. For this, he has done full research. I have already said about my character that he is the soul of the film. I feel the best thing about Vivek that they do not make artificial and useless things.
