N. Raghuraman, Management Guru

The name of 80 -year -old Gaura Bai of Madhya Pradesh came in the list of beneficiaries on the computer screen. The village sarpanch and secretary informed him that a house has been approved in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in his name. Since the opportunity was to be inspected before giving the accommodation, Gaurabai was asked to drop the soil where she is staying in the house so that the scheme can be taken advantage of.

There should be no roof on their head. So with the help of family members, they demolished a house made of clay and went to live under an acacia tree with her widow daughter -in -law Radhabai and her three children.

But this is 10 months ago. Yes, till date this eighty -year -old elderly widow along with four of her family members is living under the same tree in Lohari village of Kukshi tehsil, 140 km from Indore. This family of five people has suffered cold, heat under the open sky and now it is facing rain, but there is no possibility of coming to the roof on the head.

Sarpanch Amar Singh Vaskel says that Gaura’s elder son has already taken advantage of this plan, but he was separated from the family long ago. And after this Gaura’s name started appearing in the list of beneficiaries. The officials processed Gaura’s application on the basis of job card, but his online application could not proceed.

Now the officials have asked them to go to the District Collector Office of Dhar, because nothing can be done at the village level now. District Panchayat CEO Kanchan Vaskel of Nisarpur block admits that there is a mistake in the computer.

Therefore, whenever their application is made, the system tells the error and no one knows why this error is coming. Now District Collector Priyank Mishra is the only hope, who has promised to show the case with priority.

Now see the second example. Surinder Kaul, who is going to Indore from flight number AI-2591 at Mumbai Airport this Tuesday, arrived at the Air India counter. He handed over his bag, took the boarding pass and was asked to go to gate number 47A, from where other passengers were going to board the aircraft.

He took his boarding pass and reached the gate. But here it was found that co -passengers are not going to Indore but going to Bengaluru. In panic, he saw his boarding pass and came to know that his boarding pass was from Bengaluru, not from Indore. The name was also written by another passenger Kintan Desai. He ran here and there.

The boarding staff obeyed the mistake, but expressed his inability to help anyone, as Kaul had a wrong boarding pass. Employees asked him to go back to the Air India counter, but he could not do so, as there are a lot of protocols to get its permission in airport security.

Now the aircraft of Bangalore had gone to 6.35 am and Indore flight was about to fly at 7.40 in the morning. The calls were very helpless. Thank God that he had E. Boarding Pass in the mobile, so that he could sit in the plane but he was still doubted about his belongings.

A senior employee came after an uproar by the passengers and got a new boarding pass. Then it was found that the goods were already kept in the right plane. Thus Kaul was able to climb on the flight of Indore. The manager promised to investigate the computer disturbances.

Funda is that Computers may work fast, but they may have malfunction. Only human intelligence can cure it. This is the reason why you should have a person with analytical intellect among the people working.
