Actor Raza Murad has lodged an official Complete at Amboli police station in Mumbai on Friday against a false post of his death on social media. The veteran actor said that this rumor has made him very upset and he has to clarify again and again that he is alive.
Talking to ANI, Raza Murad said- ‘There are some of our well-wishers, which my life is probably knocking. They have posted a post of my death. Has paid tribute to me. I have been working for so many years and there is no one to pay tribute to me. He has also written my birth date and has also written my death day. This is a very serious thing.
Apart from acting Raza Murad is also known for his huge voice.
The actor said that he is tired of constantly giving clarification on wrong information. Raza further said- ‘I would tell people that I am alive, my throat, tongue and lips have dried up. This false news has spread everywhere. I am getting phones and messages from all over the world. People are also sending me post copy. Anyone who has done this, his mindset must have been very bad. He appears to be a very young person who never achieved any important achievement in his life. So they enjoy doing such cheap things.
Raza confirmed ANI that the police was taking his complaint seriously. He said, ‘They have accepted my complaint and are registering an FIR. They assured me that they would go to the bottom of it and catch the responsible person. Legal action will be taken against them. Now all this should be closed. This is not just about me. Famous celebrities are often declared dead only after being alive. He said, “This is wrong and whoever does so should be punished.”
Raza Murad is the cousin of Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman.
Talking about the work front of the actor, he has worked in more than 250 films in Hindi, Bhojpuri and many regional languages since the 70s. He is identified on screen as a villain. Murad has left an indelible mark with his acting in films like ‘Prem Rog’ and ‘Padmavat’.
