AR Murugadas, director of Salman Khan’s film Alexander, has recently talked about the problems faced by working with stars in an interview. He has said that Salman Khan used to come on the set at night even during the call time of the day, due to which the entire unit and child artist had to wait for him and had to shoot till midnight.
In the recent interview to Valipichu Voice, director Murugadas said, “It is not easy to work with stars.” We also had to shoot at night for the scene of the day, as they used to come on the set at 8 pm. We are those people. We are accustomed to shoot since morning, but it did not happen there.
He further said, if there are 4 children in a scene, then we had to shoot with them at 3 o’clock in the night, even if it was the scene of returning from school. By that time he used to get tired and slept.
Salman gave clarification on letters of lethality
Let us tell you that during the promotion of the film Alexander, Salman Khan himself had said to be late on the set. He had said, I used to lie down on the set and go quickly, the director has done all the hard work.
However, he gave clarification on this in an interview given to India Today. He had said, there are many stories of my late coming and not taking work seriously. I have done more than 100 films. Had I been constantly coming late or going quickly, would it have been possible.
He further said, people start work at 6 am, I do at 12 o’clock. I have many types of work. I have to sign, workouts. But if I come on the set at once, I do not even go to my vanity.
Let me tell you that this is not the first time that someone has accused Salman of coming late. Earlier, the film And Andaz has also become hot with Aamir Khan when he did not arrive on time on his set. Apart from this, actors Mushtaq Khan and Danny have also mentioned this.
