Johran Mamdani is going to be a topic of discussion. The reins of the world’s most generous, powerful and rich Jewish-Bahul city are going to come in their hands. He is a supporter of Gaza, raising tremendous trump in his territory of the US President and advocating the Democratic Left.
Trump has called him a “100 % communist mad”. Trump blames the ‘quartet’ of four women leaders of the Democratic Left for his Utkarsh. Although there is no bad in New York to be humiliated by Trump. But I will discuss some major election promises of Mamdani.
They will finish the fare of buses (Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana and after this and all the cities); The fare of 20 lakh houses made from subsidy will ‘freeze’ (we remember our rent control act); The public housing development agency (every city in India has DDA, MHADA, BDA etc.) will build two lakh more houses within three years; Children from six weeks of newborns to five years of age will provide extensive child protection service (Anganwadi?); And the government will open grocery stores, which will get goods at a lower price.
Do you remember your ration shops, central stores and cooperative super market, right? All these programs are remembered by two generations of Indians as a huge failures of socialist state system. Just as I used to stand in the line in front of the ration shop to buy everything with my mother at the age of 10, if you too would have stood up, then you will understand what I want to say.
In these government shops, Chinese were available for working sections (200 grams per person per person per person), from wheat to meter to cloth. You must have also seen government houses created for working sections in your cities, which are called concrete slums. You will find them in every city. Our free bus services are failing due to the financial constraints of the state governments.
All such schemes that failed in their country want to repeat them in the city which millions of Indians have mainly made their new home as economic refugees. Mamdani is so young that he would hardly have taken all these views from India, and it is also not possible that his parents would have experienced a lot of this.
But, the country that gave a capitalist dream to the modern world and the city which is considered a symbol of sharp success is a matter of interest in socialism. Even more interesting is the attraction among the youth of New York.
This is the situation in almost all major cities of America, they are all under the control of democrats. And Mammadani is also left of that ‘squad’. The city that should have been a brand-offer of capitalist success is its contradiction.
Or is it not that such success eventually creates land for socialism? That you have become so rich that you can exempt socialism? When Europe gained a lot of richness, it was turned to the left, and now the way is changing. Socialism attracts migrants in rich societies and also brings racial, religious variations with it.
To be honest, it also brings tribal internal conflicts of far away countries. There is a reaction against it and the right wing returns. This also happened in Scandinavia, which is considered home to the best socialism. The problem of India is that bad thoughts never left it chase. Only good people and best minds left it.
The most luxurious, most ambitious, entrepreneurial Indians made America their home. If they were not running away from our fake socialism, then whom were they running away? Today, whoever puts his life at risk for the sake of ‘Danki Route’, he is running away from socialism. Investigate how much the government is spending on the welfare of the distributionist and the Bharatiya Janata Party, considered right -wing, has adopted the Revdi culture of Indian socialists today.
