Actor and comedian Madan Bob, who has been part of the best Tamil films like Friends and Thenali, has died at the age of 71 years. The actor was battling cancer for a long time. On Saturday evening, he took the last breath of his home in Chennai.

Popular actor, director and choreographer Prabhu Deva paid tribute to Madan Bob’s death. He wrote on his official X account (first Twitter), “We have shared the screen together and his presence always brought happiness to the set.” Cheerful, Kind and full of humor, he always made people around feel happy. Madan Bob’s real name S. It was Krishnamurti. He was part of the Tamil film industry for the last 40 years. He has acted in more than 200 films in his career, although he started his career as a musician. He had entered the acting world for the first time from Balu Mahendra’s film Dangen Ke Kattwai. However, due to the first small but powerful role, he started getting offers from many films.

He has appeared in the finest Tamil films ‘Nangal Kettavai’ (1984), ‘Vaname Ellai’ (1992) and ‘Thewar Magan’. His best comedy films include ‘Sathi Lilavati’, ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Kawalan’, ‘Run’, ‘Varlaru’, and ‘Chal Raja MBBS’.
