The film’s premiere was kept on 4 September. During this, director Vivek Agnihotri said, what the West Bengal government is doing is illegal and unconstitutional. We are planning to file a writ petition, but it will depend on what happens tomorrow. Based on that, we will take further legal action.

He said, many theater owners have said that the police are threatening to face serious consequences on releasing the film. In such a situation, they say that what will we do if the police enter our property and damage our property?

The director further stated that the film has been dubbed in Bengali language, so that the local viewers of the state can see it in their mother tongue.

Actress Pallavi Joshi wrote a letter to the President

On Tuesday, Pallavi Joshi wrote a letter to India’s President Draupadi Murmu. In this, he demanded security for the release of the film in West Bengal.
