The new season of the TV show ‘Kisi Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ has started again. The entry of many new faces and old characters ‘Tulsi’ and ‘Mihir’ have also been brought back to the show. Meanwhile, actress Kiran Dubey, who played the role of ‘Karisma Virani’ in the first season of the show, has spoken about an old controversy.
Kiran Dubey, in a conversation with Vicky Lalwani, claimed that once Smriti Irani had asked her to go out of the green room.
Kiran said,

Because she was a senior actor, she thought that she could tell me that I should go out of the room and she said so. I also said in response that if you want to go, you should leave. After this, working in that show became very difficult and uncomfortable for me. This was the reason that I decided to leave the show. I was not enjoying that work anymore.
Kiran further said,

The political views of both of us were different. I think she became a little more emotional on it. For example, if you and I talk on politics, you will see that I am not emotional and the matter is not personal, but perhaps she was interested in politics at that time, as is now. Our views were different, but I did not expect that the matter would increase so much.

Apart from ‘Sas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, Kiran Dubey has worked in shows like ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Jassi Ki, Jassi, and Babylon’s courtyard.
Smriti Irani’s politics also responded
In the conversation, Kiran also reacted to Smriti Irani’s political visit. Kiran said,

When you have such a big platform, it should not be used to show yourself or pride. That strength could be used to empower children and women, so that we could all feel proud. But I did not see anything like this.
