Can you hear that loud voice coming from the east? 1.4 billion people of China are laughing together! They are unable to believe their luck that Trump and his party have prepared strategic suicide in the AI’s huge power-power era.
He has passed a bill, which weakens America’s ability to produce renewable energy. And why? Because Trump sees him as a ‘Liberal’ source of energy, even though today he is the fastest and cheap ways to promote our power grid to meet the immense demand coming from AI data centers.
Now Saudi Arabia is also doubling solar energy to meet the needs of AI data centers obtained from the West and Trump’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ is intent on reversing it properly. This eliminates tax credit for solar and wind energy as well as electric vehicles. This virtually guarantees that in the coming time, China will be the head of autonomous vehicles including solar energy, wind energy and electric cars.
Thankfully, Trump and his friends reserved the tax credit of Biden-era for companies by 2036, which make other emissions-free techniques such as nuclear reactor, hydroelectric dam, geotheral plant and battery storage.
The problem is that it may take up to 10 years to build a nuclear plant in the US, and Trump’s bill has added some complex restrictions to the battery credit that prevent recipients from having relationships with ‘banned foreign institutions’ like China. These restrictions are so complex that credits can be unusable for many projects.
In short, this bill- which has been passed in a hurry without a single Congress hearing with independent energy experts or even a single scientist- will certainly risk the investment of billions of dollars in renewable energy. It can also end the jobs of thousands of American workers.
So, in one stroke, this bill will increase your air-conditioning bill, reduce your clean agrony jobs and make China happy by weakening America’s auto industry. In America, a person who understands all this well is Ellon Musk.
It is sad that Musk- who is undoubtedly one of the greatest manufacturing innovators of America- has defamed himself to voters due to arbitrary cuts in the government workforce. Due to this, many people will not understand the important truth that Musk is screaming to his fellow Americans that Trump’s bill is completely filled with insanity and destructive. It promotes past industries and causes severe damage to future industries. And China knows this.
In other words, there was never such a close relationship between cheap, clean power content produced for AI model and future economic and military strength of a country. But Trump has rejected the Clean Energy Policy and asked the US renewable energy to kneel. But China is not doing this today.
Very few Americans understand how much China has gone in this matter and is moving forward every day. In 2000, China produced only 1,300 terravot power, while the US has about 3,800 terravott (a terravot is equal to a million megawott).
Whereas today China is producing more than 10,000 terravott electricity, while the US has added only 500 terravott in its figure since 2000. Most of China’s power growth came from coal, but in recent years it has been inspired by expansion of hydro, solar, wind and battery sources. China is on the way to become the world’s first ‘electrostate’, where a large part of its energy is coming from electricity and the economy is rapidly operating by clean technology.
Musk is screaming to his fellow Americans that Trump’s bill is completely filled with insanity and destructive. It promotes past industries and causes severe damage to future industries.
