He was in UK at that time, so he booked a multiplex from Kolkata from there. Traders are usually in the launch event theater itself. He reached Kolkata directly from UK for this event. Arriving here, he came to know that the multiplex refused to launch the trailer and cited political unrest. After this, his team booked to launch the trailer in another multiplex, but after an hour, the same answer was received from everywhere that if this is done, it would be difficult to survive in Kolkata. After this, his team held the trailer launch event after all formalities at a 5 star hotel for the next day. The night was prepared overnight, but when the media started coming, a lot of police reached there.

A glimpse of the uproar in the trailer launch.

As soon as he wanted to start the trailer in front of 200 media people, the hotel staff told him that he had received a call from high athority that you cannot show the trailer here. Despite this, when Vivek wanted to show the trailer, a policeman cut the cable and stopped him. After this, a crowd of some unknown people reached there and the situation of stampede became a situation.
