On July 16, Rakesh Roshan has an emergency angioplasty at Kokilaben Dhiru Bhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Actor, producer and director Rakesh Roshan is now healthy and has been discharged from the hospital. Recently he has given updates on Emergency Medical Conditions. He has told that he had gone for routine checkup, but on the advice of the doctor, when he got sonography done, it was found that both the artery that deliver blood to the mind has a lot of blockage.
Rakesh Roshan shared pictures from the hospital with his official Instagram and wrote, ‘This week was really open for me. During a normal full body health checkup, when doctors were doing a heart sonography, he suggested that neck should also be Sonography. Incidentally we came to know that even though there were no symptoms, both my carotid artery (which deliver blood to the brain) had blocked more than 75%. If it was ignored, it could have proved to be extremely dangerous. ‘
Further, Rakesh Roshan wrote, ‘I immediately admitted myself to the hospital and got the necessary preventable procedures. Now I have returned home completely healthy and hope to start my workouts very soon. I hope this experience will motivate others to take their health seriously, especially in cases of heart and brain related investigation.
