Punjab Comedy King Dr. Jaswinder Bhalla (65) died on Friday. Punjabi settled abroad is unhappy with his death. Jaswinder Singh Bhalla had a very special relationship with Ludhiana. He also read and taught here from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU)

Student said- Bhalla sir was always banned for time Dr. Bhalla was a student and Additional Director PAU Dr. TS Riyad said that I am very sorry that our teachers are not with us today. We were studying MSc from him 35 years ago. His style of teaching was different from all teachers. We also studied with him and also worked with him. With him we often used to go to eat food in the PAU canteen.

Dr. TS Riyad said- He was ill for the last one year. This morning we came to know that Dr. Bhalla has left us. After his death, all programs have been postponed in our university today. Bhalla was our fan and also an inspiration for us. It is very good fortune to find a guru like Bhalla.

Dr. TS Riyad further said- Dr. Bhalla was always banned for time. Bhalla Sahib was also very fond of food. From the year 2006 to the year 2020 then we used to eat with them in PAU. All the time he kept laughing and laughing. I spoke to him two months ago.

Bhalla has been HOD of the Department of Extension Education. The atmosphere outside it.

Vice Chancellor said- Bhalla is not in the world, not believing PAU Vice Chancellor Dr. Sukhbir Singh said- When we got this news this morning, we are not sure that this has really happened. Our PAU has a huge loss. Bhalla retired from here at the age of 60. It was from here that he did BSc, MSc and then he started working here as a professor. He has also been the Head of Department at PAU.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Sukhbir Singh said- Bhalla’s taught children are associated with big places in the country and abroad. In 1988, Bhalla started a program called Chhankata. Constant new new seasons were fired from Chhankata. Due to which Bhalla got a lot of recognition. Bhalla later came in films, because he got such opportunities in view of his role in Chhankata.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Sukhbir Singh further said- Children never missed Bhalla’s class, because he used to laugh at the children while teaching. Till now, he used to keep coming to PAU, because he used to take information about treatment from PAU too.
