Actress Jasmine Bhasin, who appeared in Bigg Boss 14, recently shared the experience related to casting couch. He said that a director tried to touch him incorrectly on the pretext of audition. However, Jasmine understood the situation in time and exited there.
During the conversation at The Himanshu Mehta show, Jasmine said, “I had come to audition Bombay and a meeting in a hotel in Juhu.” Where many girls and actresses were waiting in the lobby. Many coordinators were also present together, so all were coming there for the meeting.
When I went to that meeting room, a man there was talking about audition while drinking alcohol, which I was scared to see. Even the coordinator went out of the room. Initially I was very nervous. Then the man told me that you have to perform this scene. I replied, sir, I will prepare the scene and come tomorrow. But he did not insist, he will have to do it now. So I made that scene in fear.
Jasmine further said, she said no. Actually, he was standing up and explaining a scene to me, as if your lover is going, you have to stop him. I did that scene act. But he said again, not so. After this, he closed the room from inside. He was trying to do something wrong. But then I used my skills and ran away. From that day onwards I decided that I will never hold any meeting in the hotel room in my life after today.
Jasmine and Ali Goni had their first meeting on the set of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.
Jasmine Bhasin further said, I would definitely like to say that it is very important to understand the difference between real and fake casting calls. Everyone needs work, and sometimes in this haste we reach the wrong places. But those who really want to cast, never resort to casting couch.
