Disha Wakani, who became popular across the country by playing the role of Dayaben in television’s popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, has recently met the producer of the show. He reached Asit Modi’s house on the special occasion of Rakshabandhan and tied a rakhi to him, after which the producer touched his feet. Disha Vakani’s daughters were also present on this special occasion.
Producer Asit Modi shared an emotional post by sharing a video celebrating Rakshabandhan with Disha Vakani. He has written that some relationships weave luck, not blood, but a heart. Disha Vakani is not just our ‘Daya Bhabhi’, but my sister. For years, this relationship has moved beyond the screen, sharing laughter, memories and familiarity. On this rakhi, the same unwavering trust and the same deep familiarity felt again. This bond should always remain with its sweetness and strength.

Let us tell you that Disha Vakani took maternity leave due to pregnancy in the year 2017. However, she did not return after this. Asit Modi made a lot of efforts to bring him on the show, but this could not be possible. For the last 8 years, the show is running without a lead actress. There have been reports that the makers are trying to bring new Dayaben to the show, but they have not been replaced till now.
