Emotional scenes have always been a challenge for me. I often feel that I leave acting. I have an imposter syndrome. On the set, when I see other people do different things like camera, editing or writing, I feel that I should also join them. 99 percent I feel what I am doing. In such a situation, when an emotional scene comes, it becomes very difficult for me.
What do you find the most difficult while justifying Vikrant’s character?
Recently there was a scene in which I had to make someone feel jealous so that he could understand his feelings. At that time there was an insistence inside Vikrant that he had to get his destination, no matter what. I had to perform the scene properly so that Vikrant’s insistence and his intention reached both people. It was a bit difficult for me to justify it because I had to go to the depths inside me and feel that spirit. Yet I believe that a person can do anything if he tries wholeheartedly. Thinking this, I tried my best to play that scene.
