The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has strongly protested against the Indo -Pakistan cricket match played in Dubai today. The organization has demanded an immediate cancellation of the match, calling it an insult to the martyrs of the country.
AICWA said in its statement that the whole country is currently in the grief of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In this attack, 26 innocent Indians were murdered by Pakistani terrorists by asking religion. Playing matches with Pakistan at this time is an insult to the martyrs and their families.
The Workers Association reminded that the Indian government has already broken trade, water distribution and cultural relations with Pakistan. Aicwa itself also banned Pakistani artists and films. The country is first for us, nothing is on it.
AICWA alleged that BCCI is keeping money above the sentiments of the country. Cricket and the blood of martyrs cannot run together. This match is not just a game, but a deception of martyrs.
The association has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and cancel the match. Also, the film industry has also asked to raise his voice against this match.
The statement also said, “If the BCCI does not stop the match, then there is an appeal to every Indian to boycott this match and do not see it anywhere.”
AICWA reiterated that this step is not just for the honor of the martyrs, but to convey the message to the world that India will never stand with terror and terrorist nation.
Team India beat UAE easily
