Last year, rumors of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s separation came in the headlines. However, both of them never made any statement directly on this. Now Ed filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar has reacted to this.
Kakkar told, “I live in her (Aishwarya) mother’s building and I know how much time Aishwarya spends there. She leaves her daughter and then goes to pick her up. She had time in the middle, so she would go to meet her mother and spend time. Then I know how close she is and worried about her mother.”
Prahlada Kakkar is a well-known ad and creative director.
In the interview, the filmmaker also described the rumors of Aishwarya and Abhishek’s divorce as nonsense.
She said, “She is the daughter-in-law of the house and takes care of the house. I knew there is no truth in the rumor. People were saying that she was running away from her marriage and living near her mother. It was not so. It was not only. She used to go to meet her mother, when the daughter was in school. She did not go to school. Sometimes Abhishek also used to meet her mother.”

Kakkar also explained why Aishwarya and Abhishek have never made any statement on the rumors of divorce. He said, “If you see, neither Abhishek nor Aishwarya made any comment on it. Why do they always maintained their dignity and therefore journalists did not like him.”
How did the news of divorce caught fire? Please tell that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were married in 2007. He has a daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, but last year rumors of not being right in their relationship. The rumor began when Abhishek Bachchan became part of Anant-Radhika’s wedding in July 2024 with his family. Abhishek’s entire family was present on the red carpet.
However, Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya were not with her at that time. Shortly after Abhishek arrived, Aishwarya arrived with the daughter on the red carpet and posed to Paparaji. At the same time, a few days later, Amitabh Bachchan shared his family and personal issues in his blog on 22 November 2024 amid reports of Aishwarya-Abhishek’s divorce. He wrote, “I avoid speaking about the family, but some people blow these issues for their own benefit.” Amitabh has not mentioned the son-daughter-in-law in the post, but his post was linked to the issue of divorce.
