Ask anyone going to the Taj Hotel about their experience. Whether they have gone there to drink tea or live, they will have positive memories of that experience. Go to any Taj Hotel in Kerala, Mumbai, Lucknow or New York. Whether it is summer or winter, day or night, it is always fantastic.

The hotel group also has a concept called “Tajnes”, which shows a unique spirit that is experienced on a Taj property. In such a situation, it seems ironic that the Tata Group operates the Taj hotels, he is also the owner of AI India, one of the world’s worst rating airlines.

Many people in the past avoided criticizing Air India publicly. There was also an aspect of patriotism, as Air India is seen as a national flag bearer. Still the question can be asked why India cannot create a world class airline?

It is understood that Tata has recently bought Air India. It was a loss -running company until a few years ago. Tata acquired AI and merged it with Vistara, which was a magnificent small airline on the path of making its mark in the world. People hoped that Air India would now turn to Vistara. Instead, it was upside down. It seems that Air India has swallowed Vistara.

Meanwhile, the quality of Air India continues to decline. There are reports of flight returning due to dirty and old aircraft, broken air conditioners and technical problems. What to mention about the terrible accident in Ahmedabad-Landan flight. So what is the reason that Tata, who runs the first status business on earth, fail in the sky?

There are many reasons for this. Our aviation policies are such that almost every good thing eventually ends or does not work. Kingfisher, Jet, Vistara- all merged for various reasons. They all aspired to give high-quality experience.

The only winner in the Indian aviation is Indigo, a skilled airline. However, by eating the upma and sandwiches found in Indigo, you start feeling like a school child, whose tiffin is prepared by her careless mother.

We need a world -class airline and we detect it. A great airline performs the best branding of the country. Whether investors, businessmen or tourists- the flag-career of a country tells about it first. Airlines like Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qatar Airways have done amazing work for their home countries.

What is necessary for a world -class airline? First of all, cleanliness and beauty. And more than that, security, because without a good security-rid, you cannot be considered a world-class airline. Then the number comes of good connectivity, timely ban and transits.

Almost all good airlines have good transit-hub airports. Airports, regulators and airlines work together to provide a spontaneous experience for passengers. Whereas at major airports in India, you do not know when the congestion will be done, when you will not get the aerobridge and when you will be stuck for hours. If we are serious about creating a world class airline, airports and policy makers will have to support our airlines.

A great airline performs the best branding of the country. Whether investors, businessmen or tourists- the flag-career of a country tells about it first. Look at Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Qatar Airways. (These are the author’s own views)
