Recently, singer Amal Malik had accused his uncle that Anu Malik used to snatch films from his father Dabboo. Now Dabboo Malik has broken the silence on this
In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Dabboo Malik said,
There is no power in the fact that Anu ji worked against me or snatched my films. Competition occurs. A man who is also the biggest man of that line wants to prove his ability and a sense of match and what no one knew that one day I would also become another music director from the family? I myself was a ‘googly’ for the industry.
Dabboo Malik also said that talks happen in the family, sometimes the things of the parents are filled in the minds of the children and they make them a story with their understanding.
Dabboo Malik said,
When we sit together at home, whether they are on the dining table, watching TV or film, sometimes parents say such things, especially when children are small, which is not necessarily completely true. Many times those things are imaginary or said in a feeling of a moment, “She did it to me” or “That is like that.” But when children hear these things, they settled deeply in their mind. Later, after 20 years, they process those things according to their own and they have made their concoctions.
Dabboo Malik further said,
For example, there was no need for what Amal said about Anu Bhai. Needless to say that he snatched my picture. Nobody snatches anything from anyone, no one can make anyone, nor can anyone spoil anyone.
Dabboo Malik also said that when he started as a musician in 1999, some projects started getting and good music also started, but by 2005-06 he realized that he could not see the success of the level that was expected. So he did not force his career.
At the same time, Dabboo said about the success of his sons Amal and Armaan,
The dream that I had seen, the resolve was fulfilled in exactly the same way. ‘Hero’ superhit Hui, the music superhit of ‘Air Lift’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Suraj Duba Hai’ became hits. One after the other films, songs, awards, Filmfare… everything was found in six-seven years. It felt as if someone had turned around the magic wand.
Dabboo Malik further said,
Seeing the success of my children, the happiness, satisfaction and self -consciousness I got, forgot all my previous failures and even in the era when I had nothing, I never was disappointed. Neither blamed anyone, nor spoke against anyone. It is not my nature.
